Today we hear the account of David and Goliath from the Old Testament book of 1 Samuel chapter 17.  We’ll think through what it was Goliath represented, how David’s confidence in his Lord was on show, and where Christ even now goes into fight for us.  ‘My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him’ (Psalm 62:1)
