All Saints day is 1 November. It is a day that gives us the opportunity to not only remember our loved ones who have died in Christ, but to reflect on how their assured future by Christ’s side will be ours as well. Today, we will hear the Gospel of the forgiveness of sins and life eternal through the account of the great multitude around the throne of the lamb (Revelation 7:9-17). No one can count this multitude such is its size. What a comfort it is that God’s generosity has personally been both shown to us in his son and given to us!
